    not really i say take iron tablets. spinach is goood for iron i believe

    Don’t worry about red meat, you can also get iron from white meat, fish and eggs.
    Bovril and Oxo may contain some but they are rather high in salt, so use in moderation.
    There is iron in some vegetables, but this iron is difficult for the body to use.
    Finally, strange but true: the iron that rubs off an uncoated cast iron pan onto the food during cooking is absorbed more easily by the body than iron from any other source! Nobody knows why, as far as I know, but it is a fact.
